Apollon and Asklepios' Temple

Welcome!

Welcome to the Temple dedicated to Apollon and Asklepios. This is both a real life and virtual temple in constant update and with regular worshiping.

The temple holds regular worship and also makes rituals by request. In the spirit of Ancient Asclepius' cult I am currently performing incubations on request. At least once a month I will also perform oracular work in the context of Apollon's cult, you can also require oracular readings from me. Request rituals, incubation or oracle readings at Rituals. To leave prayers or devotions to Hygieia go to Shrine to Hygieia, to leave offerings to Apollo or Asklepios go to Altar.

You can learn more about the Gods Asclepios and Apollo at their respective page (links on the left), where you will also find information concerning their epithets, their spheeres of action, their Ancient and Modern cult. On Asklepios page you will also find the link to a small shrine to his daughter Hygieia.

The temple also holds Ancient and Modern festivals to both Apollo and Asklepios and the upcoming festivals and rituals are listed on "Upcoming and Agon" where you will also find information on any Agon (competition) the temple may be holding. For winners of past competitions and for devotional works made by Apollo and Asclepios' worshipers visit the Altar, where you can also leave your offering.

What's new? Changed text on Entrance, added information to "Offerings to Asklepios", added Shrine to Hygieia, added temple services on Rituals, added the articles "Incubation and Temple Healing" on Asklepios and "On Homeric Hymn 21" on Apollo (1 August 2007)

I will remember and not be unmindful of Apollo who shoots afar. As He goes through the house of Zeus, the Gods tremble before Him and all spring up from Their seats when He draws near, as He bends His bright bow.
